The ultimate guide to the ACCURA D12
This guide explains everything you need to know about the ACCURA D12 Tyre Inflator.
An overview of the ACCURA D12 Tyre Inflator
The ACCURA D12 is a fixed tyre inflator designed for accurate, reliable inflation in demanding indoor or outdoor environments. It is available as a wall-mounted unit or a pedestal-mounted version for freestanding installation, providing flexibility to suit different workshop layouts. All models come with a calibration certificate to guarantee precision. The D12 can be customised with hose lengths, valve connectors, multi-hose setups, and multi-voltage options (12V, 24V, 110V, 230V). Certified models are available for Spain (CEM), France (LNE), and Portugal (IPQ), and custom decals or logos can be applied to reflect your brand.
The standard model inflates up to 145 psi (10 bar), with high-pressure versions up to 232 psi (16 bar). The D12 is ideal for tyre shops, garage workshops, vehicle manufacturing plants, and wheel assembly plants, delivering accurate, repeatable inflation with minimal operator effort.

The pre-set function enables the operator to carry out other tasks during the inflation/deflation process. All the customer needs to do is pre-set the required pressure, place the connector on the tyre, and let the inbuilt auto-start function do the rest.
Once the desire pressure is reached, you’ll hear an audible beep and the light on top of the unit will flash for as long as the connector is attached the tyre valve.
The ACCURA D12 can be easily switched between three applications modes:
Standard (STD)
For automatic inflation and deflation
Tyreshop (TIR)
Overinflates the tyre for bead seating and adjusts to correct the correct tyre inflation afterwards.
Nitrogen Purge mode (N2P)
Nitrogen purging is an industry standard technique for eliminating unwanted gases and other impurities and replacing with an inert dry atmosphere.
During the start-up procedure initiation the current application is always shown. More information on how to switch between the three modes can be found later in the article.
In short, PCL’s ACCURA D12 will save you time and money by providing accuracy, increased efficiency, uptime, and safety, whilst reducing effort and fatigue associated with inflating large, high-pressure tyres from flat.
What are the product options?
Standard Model

The standard D12 is available as either a wall-mounted or pedestal-mounted unit for freestanding installation. All D12s come with a calibration certificate, guaranteeing precise and reliable inflation. Designed as a tyre shop model, the D12 includes an automatic start function and features three inflation modes—STD, OPS, and N2P.
The unit can be customised with different hose lengths, valve connectors, and multi-hose setups to suit specific operational requirements. Multi-voltage options make it compatible with 12V, 24V, 110V, and 230V power supplies, and certified models are available for Spain (CEM), France (LNE), and Portugal (IPQ). Custom decals and branding can also be requested, allowing the inflator to reflect your brand’s colours, logos, or design preferences.
With a maximum inflation pressure of 145 psi (10 bar), it is well suited for tyre shops, garage workshops, vehicle manufacturing plants, and wheel assembly facilities.
Specialist Variants
Beyond the standard configuration, the ACCURA D12 range can be configured with a number of specialist enhancements designed to improve usability, connectivity, and application-specific performance.
Multi-hose version (D13 configuration)

This version includes a multi-hose assembly with four hoses and a manifold block, designed for efficient multi-tyre inflation. It also includes a single-hose assembly for standard operation and is available in a high-pressure format. Confirm-to-Start software is included as standard.
4 Button Preset Model

This version builds on the standard D12 with four additional buttons for saving and selecting pre-defined pressure values. It features a 4-hose assembly with manifold block, along with a single-hose option for flexibility. The system uses Confirm-to-Start software for controlled multi-tyre inflation, and a high-pressure version is also available.
LED Beacons

Optional red/green LED beacons provide a clear visual indication of the inflation status, particularly useful in busy or low-visibility environments:
Red Flashing = inflating
Green Flashing = pressure reached
Safety Cage Model

Designed for use with tyre safety cages, this version integrates door interlock switch compatibility. When connected, the inflator will only allow inflation up to 1 bar if the cage doors are open. Once the doors are closed, full inflation is enabled. High-pressure versions are also available.
Connectivity Enabled Model

Connectivity features are available across the range, enabling data interrogation and system integration. MODBUS/RS232 communication protocols allow key inflation data to be extracted and transferred to external systems.
OPS (Not Restricted) Model

This variant allows the use of an OPS (Operating Pressure Setting) value at tyre pressure, limited to a maximum OPS of 29 psi / 2 bar. It is commonly used in OTR, mining, and large fleet environments where tyre inflation safety protocols are required.
High-Pressure Model

A dedicated high-pressure variant is available for demanding applications such as aviation, mining, OTR, and wheel assembly plants. It includes Confirm-to-Start functionality and supports inflation up to 232 psi / 16 bar maximum.
Remote-Controlled Model

Standard, 4P preset, and high-pressure models are available with a wired remote control console, improving accessibility in installations where direct access to the unit is limited.
Integrated Printer Model

This variant includes a reporting function connected to an integrated thermal printer (supplied with the unit). It can print results for up to five tyres, including the spare, on a single ticket. This makes it well suited to tyre shops, workshops, vehicle manufacturing plants, and wheel assembly facilities. High-pressure versions are also available.
Dual Screen Display

All variants can be supplied with a dual-screen format. The upper display shows the target pressure, while the lower display shows real-time tyre pressure, updating continuously until the target is reached. This is particularly useful in high-pressure applications.
